Role Overview:

This position at London Bridge Hospital requires a skilled Digital Pathology Analyst to provide internal support and integrations for our digital pathology tracking and reporting system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing technical support for HCA Laboratories' externally hosted digital pathology tracking and reporting system.
  • Scope, plan, deliver, and maintain integrations between HCA Laboratories' digital pathology tracking and reporting system and external parties, including NHS Trusts.
  • Develop and manage technical requirements documentation, integrations design, and governance processes, including HL7 interfaces and approval processes.
  • Deploy and integrate new digital capabilities into the business, ensuring sensitivity to and compatibility with business operations.
  • Create a system business readiness plan, considering IT deployment, data migration, and business activities required for digital process integration.
  • Assist the user community in transition support and change planning, liaising with the project team.

Requirements:

  • Detailed experience in digital pathology within histology and cytology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of histology and cytology laboratory and process workflows.
  • Expertise in healthcare technologies, including LIMS, LIS, Digital Pathology, and MEDITECH.
  • Knowledge of HL7 interfaces and experience in planning and implementing organizational systems integrations.
