About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business and Governance Manager to join our Emergency and Acute Medicine Service at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational delivery of the Service, with responsibility for a full range of professional administrative, governance, and clerical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operational delivery of the Emergency and Acute Medicine Service
  • Manage a full range of professional administrative, governance, and clerical services
  • Direct oversight of Emergency and Acute Medicine, South Sector USC reporting, and managing these in line with associated USC performance targets
  • Input to other aspects of the service, including Complaints, SAERs, and SPSO cases
  • Proven leadership and support to admin/waiting list managers
Requirements
  • Ability to support the operational delivery of the Service
  • Experience in professional administrative, governance, and clerical services
  • Leadership and support skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
