Cyber Governance and Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Governance and Assurance Manager to join our team at ScottishPower Renewables, a leader in the development of renewable energy in the UK and Ireland. As part of the Iberdrola Group, we are committed to generating energy from renewable resources and investing in the energy infrastructure of the future.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate cyber governance and assurance initiatives to ensure the implementation of the security management system is managed and assured across all SPR Businesses.
- Develop and deliver cyber security plans across IT/OT audit, IT/OT general controls, Business continuity planning, GRC implementation, and Ofgem reporting.
- Act as part of the cyber resilience committee, working with stakeholders to execute plans efficiently.
- Provide support in a security transformation programme to transparently reduce risk and achieve compliance with NIS regulations.
- Monitor and review regulatory updates and escalate findings appropriately.
- Govern the SPR cybersecurity management system and create packs for internal stakeholders and governance forums.
- Specialised knowledge and experience of Cyber Security evidenced by relevant industry qualifications (e.g. GICSP, CISSP, CISM).
- Experience in developing and leading Cyber Security system Management and Governance in an organization of similar scope and scale.
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards, and understanding of cyber security regulations applicable to a UK energy supplier.
- Proven experience in defining cyber security governance strategies and delivering associated services.
- Experience in developing and delivering cyber management system improvement programmes.
- Awareness of key legislation impacting IT and OT Cyber Security in an energy utility.
- Experience in developing and communicating Cyber Security compliance.
