About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Elderly Care Consultant to join our team at Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Ageing and Complex Medicine Directorate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our elderly patients.

Key Responsibilities

As an Elderly Care Consultant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs. This will include assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have recent comprehensive experience in Geriatric Medicine, as well as a strong commitment to training and teaching junior medical staff and other health professionals. You will also need to be able to work in a flexible manner and have a strong ability to work as part of a team.
