The Job

As a Network Engineer, you will report directly to the Head of Operations and provide network and security knowledge to current and future customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and extending the network infrastructure
  • Providing technical expertise in routing and switching protocols, WAN & LAN technologies, and security issues
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining routers and switches within a production environment
  • Experience of WAN circuits and solutions, including MPLS and VPNs
  • Knowledge of PBX, IP, and VOIP systems (desirable)
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer with a strong technical understanding of multiple network vendor CLI languages. You will have at least 5 years of commercial experience in a similar networking environment, including builds and configurations knowledge with client delivery exposure. A CCNA certification is preferred but not essential.

What We Offer

As a Network Engineer with Major Recruitment, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £45k - £50k, plus a company bonus scheme, private medical, 22 days plus 8 public holidays, and a progression route to technical lead. A UK driving license is essential for this role, and SC clearance is also required.
