Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our team at Devonshire. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Management Team and site department Managers.
Main Responsibilities:- Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with the Finance Director to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Provide analytical support to the Senior Management Team to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Support the development of financial policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with the external audit process.
- Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or working towards qualification.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to challenge and improve processes.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 and a permanent contract. The role is based in Sunderland, with on-site parking and a supportive team environment.
