Job Description

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital in Coventry. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to adults across three wards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and implement therapeutic activities under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist
  2. Support the Head of Occupational Therapy in day-to-day duties and running of the department
  3. Work collaboratively with the Multidisciplinary Team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  4. Deliver one-to-one and group interventions, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
  5. Contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives within the team

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults or children
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
