Job Description

The Sterling Group is seeking a highly skilled Sports and Physical Activity Coordinator to join our team. This exciting role will involve supporting the development and implementation of sport, physical activity initiatives, strategies, and action plans to promote access and widen participation in local communities.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement sport, physical activity initiatives, strategies, and action plans to increase participation and improve outcomes for local residents.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including community groups, schools, and local authorities, to promote sport and physical activity opportunities.
  • Analyze data and evaluate programme effectiveness to inform future strategy and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification in a related field or significant relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sports, physical activity, and wellbeing sector in the UK, including an understanding of local authority roles in increasing and widening participation.
  • Experience of project monitoring, appraisal, and evaluation systems to demonstrate learning.

Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Coventry (with occasional travel within the region and nationally).
