Job Title: Fire and Security Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Systems Specialist to join our team at oilandgas. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Fire Systems across a single site.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform PPM tasks in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability of the Fire & Security Systems.
  2. Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  3. Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are followed in all respects and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the Fire Systems.
  4. Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance issues, help desk requests, and coordinate initial actions associated with client requests.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., fire safety engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering).
  • Proven experience in fire system maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, including design, installation, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
