Administrative Accounting Specialist

Established in Basingstoke, our client is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within Practices, specifically with Xero or Sage accounting software.
About the role:
- Process sales and purchase invoices
- Handle expense claims
- Record petty cash entries
- Manage bank payments and receipts, credit card transactions
- Maintain payroll records
- Oversee VAT and PAYE processes
The successful applicant will work on-site 5 days a week for the first 6 months, then switch to a hybrid model of 3 days in-office and 2 days at home. A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum reflects the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
Key requirements:
- Strong bookkeeping skills, preferably with Xero or Sage experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
