Job Title: SEND & Inclusion Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To provide support for adult students and apprentices with additional needs, meeting the Adult Education Budget guidance. This role involves line management of Specialist/Student Support Workers, collaboration with tutors, Specialist/Support Workers, and Assessors to provide effective support for students with an EHCP. The SEND & Inclusion Supervisor will work as a team with other managers to provide an audit trail of support, meeting Adult Education Budget requirements. Liaising with key team members to inform planning and support student progression into independent learning and further training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for adult students and apprentices with additional needs.
  • Line manage Specialist/Student Support Workers.
  • Collaborate with tutors, Specialist/Support Workers, and Assessors to provide effective support.
  • Work with other managers to provide an audit trail of support.
  • Liaise with key team members to inform planning and support student progression.
