MET Technician

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our Accident Repair Bodyshop Team in Wakefield. As an experienced MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, including dismantling vehicles, carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work, ordering replacement parts, and re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
About You:To be successful in this role, you must be able to plan your workload effectively, work skilfully and safely under pressure, carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specification, work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision, be flexible in your approach, and continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind. You will also ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or we can also consider Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians who are looking for a change to work in a bodyshop. If you're ready for a new challenge and want to be part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you.
