MET Technician

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our Accident Repair Bodyshop Team in Wakefield. As an experienced MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles, and re-assembling them with new parts as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs.
- Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
- Carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
- Order replacement parts.
- Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced MET Technician who can work effectively in a team and on their own initiative with minimal supervision. You must be able to plan your workload, work skillfully and safely under pressure, and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines, and you must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking for a change to work in a bodyshop.
What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary, up to £41,990 + Bonus OTE Up to £54,590, and a full-time, permanent position with no weekends. You will be working in a dynamic and exciting environment with opportunities for growth and development.
