About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Assurance Specialist to join our Infrastructure team at Gleeds. This role involves working on a wide range of significant assignments in various industry sectors across the UK and globally.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial and financial assurance and verification of costs on projects in different sectors.
  • Analyze and assess contractors' accounting and commercial systems and processes.
  • Prepare risk-based audit and verification plans.
  • Detailed audit and analysis of cost types.
  • Prepare high-quality outputs and working papers.
  • Understand and interpret contractual frameworks.
  • Engage with contractors, clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports.
  • Develop forensic technology and analysis tools.
  • Support the Head of Cost Assurance and senior staff within Gleeds.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or working towards it.
  • Accounting/Auditing experience (AAT, ACA, CIMA etc).
