Job Summary:

Singh & Jones Ltd is working with a well-established global facade consultancy, renowned for their expertise in facade construction. We are seeking an experienced Facade Engineer to strengthen our commercial team, focusing on Curtain Wall and Cladding. The role can be based in our Birmingham office.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze configurations of basic components of aluminium curtain wall, unitized, and cladding systems, as well as off-site systems.
* Report writing on pre-existing facade refurbishment works.
* Produce finite element analysis and U Values.
* Liaise with other designers, including architects and main contractors.
* Collaborate with construction contractors to ensure newly erected buildings are structurally sound.

Requirements:

* A self-starter with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience.
* Strong academic background, with a BSc/MSc in Structural or Civil Engineering.
* Ideal candidate should be looking to progress to completing their MSc in Facade Engineering.
