About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Nicholas James Care Homes Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional resident care and leading a dedicated care team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Exceptional Resident Care: In accordance with current best practices, ensuring resident comfort, dignity, and well-being according to care plans, policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations, under the management of the Manager.
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Including meals, personal care, medication, cleaning, assisting to get dressed including bathing and social interaction.
  • Communicating and Collaborating: Liaise with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining Accurate Resident Records:
  • Safety First: Ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
  • A team player who thrives in collaboration and manages multiple priorities.
  • Must be an organised individual with a strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and sound decision-making skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified and experienced Carer with a minimum of 2+ years in a care setting.
  • NVQ in Health & Social Care is desired, comprehensive training and support is provided.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
