About the Role:
Hypebeast is a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, and a premier destination for editorially-driven news and commerce. We are seeking a highly organized and creative Video Content Producer to join our Video department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce high-quality video content for Hypebeast's editorial video series.
- Conceptualize, write, and manage editorial, graphics production, music composition, and sound design for video projects.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Assist in securing, scheduling, and managing talent, crew, and locations for video productions.
- Direct and field produce Hypebeast video shoots.
- Edit social videos as needed.
- Brainstorm and develop new series and episode ideas to ensure consistency across all Hypebeast series.
- Develop and foster working relationships with external partners.
- Work closely with the Executive Producer to uphold the standards of the Hypebeast brand.
- Continually improve efficiency and enforce the production process.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in video production.
- Competent video producer with a focus on both social video and narrative.
- A great storyteller with highly conceptual thinking and writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in directing and field production for short and mid-form videos.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a must.
- Basic video editing experience.
- Understanding of the editorial process from beginning to end.
- Strong interpersonal, people management, and time management skills.
- Ability to juggle several projects at one time often under tight deadlines.
- Easily adaptable, willing to adjust to changing needs of the video team.
