Vehicle Damage Assessor Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a key member of our bodyshop, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and liaising with insurance companies and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed estimates
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain repair methodologies
  • Stay up-to-date with repair methodologies and industry literature
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the bodyshop and across functional areas

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification
  • Bodyshop background as an Estimator or VDA/Vehicle Damage Assessor
  • Audatex training
  • Full UK driving licence
