About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Place2Be. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified therapist/counsellor to work with children and young people in a school setting, providing clinical assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with young people to provide clinical assessments and interventions
  • Engage in the wider school community to strengthen skills and promote understanding of child mental health
  • Develop and deliver programs to support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people
Requirements
  • Level 4 qualified therapist/counsellor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
