Graduate Systems Design Specialist

We are looking for an experienced graduate engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a Senior Engineer for Embedded Systems, you will be responsible for designing and developing software-defined radio (SDR) products, including cellular base stations, test and measurement equipment, and other specialized radio systems.
Job Overview:
- You will capture and analyse customer requirements to inform system designs.
- Develop signal processing algorithms in Verilog for FPGAs.
- Create embedded software in C/C++ for proprietary hardware.
- Design and develop tools for internal and customer use.
- Test and debug systems to resolve issues and ensure quality.
Requirements:
- A 2:1 degree (or equivalent qualification) in an Engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, ideally C.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of digital signal processing and communication systems.
- Experience with digital design using Verilog or VHDL.
- Familiarity with mobile telephony systems such as 5GNR, LTE, UMTS, and GSM.
- Experience with Matlab.
