About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Marine Operations Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the deployment and recovery of Metocean equipment, including moorings and subsea components. You will also act as the offshore client liaison, working closely with clients to ensure that their needs are met.

The role is varied and offers the opportunity to work on projects for offshore wind farms, renewable energy, and oil & gas. Our engineers are involved in a mixture of offshore and coastal vessels, drilling platforms, and onshore installations. As no two projects are the same, you will need to be resourceful and flexible, with excellent communication and language skills in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the deployment and recovery of Metocean equipment, including moorings and subsea components
  • Act as the offshore client liaison, working closely with clients to ensure that their needs are met
  • Work on projects for offshore wind farms, renewable energy, and oil & gas
  • Involved in a mixture of offshore and coastal vessels, drilling platforms, and onshore installations
Requirements
  • BSc degree or above in oceanography, science, instrumentation, engineering, electrical or mechanical
  • Experience in the deployment of marine monitoring instrumentation equipment and proficiency in the setup and operation of commonly used sensors
  • Excellent communication and language skills in English
  • Full driving licence
