Job Description:

Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatry Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our podiatric team, you will play an integral part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with pathological foot conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional, high-quality, safe, and effective podiatry care to designated caseloads.
  • Manage mixed caseloads containing patients with varied medical histories, co-morbidities, and foot health statuses.
  • Participate in patient education, increasing patient engagement and ability to self-help through motivational interviewing approaches.
  • Lead on the provision of Nail Surgery services within locations.
  • Engage in clinical audit and research activities within podiatry services and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
  • A BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent.
  • Additional Entitlement Prescription Only Medicines - Administration POM (A).
  • HCPC Registration.

Salary: An estimated salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar roles in the UK healthcare sector. The actual salary may vary depending on individual circumstances.
