About the Role

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our multidisciplinary team at RocketMill. As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in creating best-in-class online experiences that engage and delight our clients' customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute UX design projects from ideation to high-fidelity prototyping.
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and user needs, ensuring seamless and visually appealing user experiences across various devices.
  • Ensure designs are fully QA'd and approved by the team before sharing with clients.
  • Discuss feedback openly with clients and the team to resolve changes into the best possible design solution.
  • Execute UX and content changes via a CMS (AEM) in a timely manner, adhering to client-defined processes and brand specifications.
  • Support user research activities, UX audits, client workshops, and translate learnings into actionable, user-centred recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with CRO team members to design and iterate on solutions for on-going conversion experimentation projects.
  • Champion digital accessibility in your work by incorporating inclusive design principles and adhering to WCAG guidelines.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable user-centred design experience and proven ability to translate a brief into an effective design solution.
  • In-depth knowledge of interaction design and usability best practices.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Proven experience in using a website CMS to build pages – not just to edit content.
  • Proficiency in front-end coding (HTML, CSS, JS).
  • A keen interest in learning how to conduct website audits, analyse data, and conduct user research activities.
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimisation (CRO) concepts and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences and key stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A creative and analytical mindset, with the ability to balance creative problem solving and strategic thinking.
