Job Overview

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team as an Audit and Accounts Senior. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for leading statutory audit assignments for various limited companies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Statutory Accounts Preparation: Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits of accounts in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and other relevant standards.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to ensure adherence to accounting standards, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare corporation tax computations, including tax item analysis, to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Team Development: Nurture the development of trainees, providing clear guidance and addressing knowledge gaps to ensure their growth and success.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to Client Managers and Directors, supporting them in dispensing high-quality services to clients.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with legislative changes, ensuring that your skills and knowledge are current and relevant.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with audit and accounts proficiency.
  • Experience: Prior experience within a practice environment, with a strong understanding of UK company audit expertise.
  • Skills: Competence in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
