Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Statutory Audit Assignments: Spearhead statutory audit assignments for limited companies, assuming accountability for the file prior to review by the Director.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Collaborate with clients to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Compliance: Craft corporation tax computations, encompassing tax item analysis and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Team Development: Nurture the development of trainees by providing clear guidance and addressing knowledge gaps.
  • Technical Expertise: Directly support Client Managers and Directors in dispensing technical expertise and staying abreast of legislative alterations.
Requirements
  • Essential: Qualified Accountant with audit and accounts proficiency, prior experience within a practice environment, UK company audit expertise, and competence in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable: Background in a corporate setting, familiarity with SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow, exposure to audit automation software or similar platforms, meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities, proactive approach to service enhancement and knowledge sharing, aptitude for initiative and problem-solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills, confidence in establishing rapport and managing professional client relationships, demonstrated organizational prowess and ability to meet deadlines, and team-oriented with adeptness at building relationships.
