Peer Support Specialist

We are seeking a capable individual to provide peer support to families in our community groups, at other community venues, and occasionally in postnatal wards across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.
As a Peer Support Specialist, you will work closely with the NCT Birth Feeding and You team to deliver inductions for volunteer peer supporters, provide breastfeeding and perinatal peer support, and report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the management team.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people, and have good IT skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
The salary for this role is £20,800.00 (FTE) and can be split across 4 or 5 working days. The role involves regular travel across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire and some homeworking to complete administrative duties.
