Medical Psychology Specialist

The ideal candidate will have experience in physical health settings, ideally in pain services or pain management programmes, and familiarity with multidisciplinary teams. You will also have a Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counselling, or Health Psychology, and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist.
The salary for this role is £45,753 - £59,179 per annum, depending on experience. This position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, requiring a Disclosure check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
About the Role:
- Provide specialist psychology provision to service users in community and secondary care pain settings.
- Offer advice and consultation on psychological care to NHS clinicians and other professionals.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines, utilising research skills for audit, policy, and research.
