About the Role

Family Action is seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team in providing early intervention mental health support to young people aged 11-25 years old. As a Counsellor for Children and Young People, you will work closely with our team of dedicated Youth Support Workers to deliver 1:1 counselling and support to young people in need.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 counselling and early intervention mental health support to young people aged 11-25 years old

• Collaborate with the Hackney Super Youth Hub and other professionals in the network to support young people and their families

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all sessions and plans

• Use outcome tools to measure and monitor client well-being and assess ongoing risk
