Senior Health and Safety Advisor

Anderselite is seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our SHE team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and advice to the business on compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on SHE matters, working closely with the SHE Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify control measures to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Assist in the implementation of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Monitor company projects and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate incidents and produce detailed reports.
  • Liaise with enforcing authorities as necessary.
  • Develop and implement divisional level strategies for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with new legislation and best practices in the industry.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Construction/general cert (minimum)
  • NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ L5 in OHAS (desired)
  • Relevant experience of working as part of a SHE team
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK legislation in relation to construction/civil engineering/highways
