About the Role:
TM Green Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Health and Safety Manager to join their team for a landmark construction project. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on a high-profile construction site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures on the construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff and contractors on health and safety practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records and reports.
- Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3/4/5 in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Experience working with main contractors is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
