Job Title: Adult Protection Lead Officer
Location: The Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock KA1 1HU
Estimated Salary: £46,192 - £50,505 per year
About the RoleAs a key member of the Protection Team, you will provide support to the East Ayrshire Adult Protection Committee and its sub-groups, leading on the committee's Strategic Delivery Plan.
The role requires strong communication and relationship building skills, with a focus on delivering an annual self-evaluation and supporting local public protection Learning Reviews.
You will work closely with multi-agency partners to promote the prevention of harm across East Ayrshire, drawing on your experience of working in a public protection environment.
Main Duties- Supporting local public protection Learning Reviews and associated learning actions
- Coordination and delivery of an annual self-evaluation
- Promoting the prevention of harm across East Ayrshire through effective communication and partnership working
The post holder will require experience of working in a public protection environment, with a strong understanding of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
Working PatternThis is a full-time permanent post, working between 2.5 to 4 days per week at an administrative base or other agreed office location.
