**Weekend Receptionist**

The Douglas Hotel Kilmarnock is a busy hotel residing in the rural town of Kilmarnock.

Saturday 8-4, Sunday 8-4. Minimum 1 year experience.

Applicants must;
- Comfortably and confidently work with the public
- Confidently greet guests as the face of the hotel and multi-task a variety of administrative duties
- Be able to work under time constraints and pressure.

Key Responsibilities;
- Counting Tills and taking card payments
- Keep an up-to-date filing system including the filing on invoices.
- Deal with guest queries and complaints efficiently
- Aid the Events & Wedding co-ordinator in the organisation of events
- Oversee a booking system of guest reservations
- Sensitively take details when taking reservations for funeral purveys
- Operate a high-volume phone line and coordinate them efficiently.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £7.77-£11.58 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kilmarnock: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
