About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Analysis and Reporting function, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Trust's transformational EPR programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain various reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, and other reporting tools.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide analysis and insights to help resolve current challenges.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of NHS data flows, datasets, information availability, scope, reliability, and data quality issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office products, including advanced functions of MS Excel.
  • Thorough understanding of NHS data definitions, reporting requirements, sources, and information flows.
  • Significant experience of designing, developing, and publishing reports and dashboards across a broad range of areas using Power BI.
  • Significant experience of extracting and processing data from multiple source systems using SQL.
