Job Title: Mental Health Support Assistant

Are you a caring and supportive individual looking to make a difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a Mental Health Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist all-through school in Hillingdon, West London.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, or mental health needs. As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you will be based inside the classroom, working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized care and support to students with complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties, and associated speech, language, and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure students receive tailored education
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents

Requirements:
- A caring, supportive, and nurturing personality
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in areas such as SEN, youth work, or mental health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
