Dental Nurse Position for Expanding Orthodontic Practice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic dental nurse to join our team at Borders Orthodontics Ltd. As a maternity cover dental nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in the surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clinicians in the surgery, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
- Decontaminate the surgery and instruments, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Work in the LDU, providing 3D intra-oral scans of patients and supporting our practice management system (SFD)
- Perform reception duties, providing excellent customer service to our patients

Requirements:

- Dental nursing qualification and registration with the GDC
- Previous orthodontic nursing experience preferred, but full training will be given on non-familiar tasks
- Ability to work part-time as part of a job share
