About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated dental nurse to join our dynamic team at Borders Orthodontics Ltd. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians in the surgery, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Contribute to the decontamination of the surgery and instruments, maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Work in the Laboratory and Diagnostic Unit (LDU), providing 3D intra-oral scans of patients and supporting the team in the production of essix retainers.
  • Utilize our practice management system (SFD) to manage patient records and appointments.
  • Provide administrative support, including reception duties and responding to patient inquiries.
Requirements
  • Dental nursing qualification and registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Previous orthodontic nursing experience is advantageous, but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year.
