Borders Orthodontics Ltd is a dynamic and expanding dental practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic dental nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to assist our clinicians in the surgery, decontaminate equipment, and work with our practice management system. The successful candidate will have a dental nursing qualification, be registered with the GDC, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians in the surgery, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
  • Decontaminate equipment and instruments, maintaining a high standard of hygiene
  • Work with our practice management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Provide 3D intra-oral scans of patients, using our state-of-the-art technology
  • Perform reception duties, including answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
  • Manufacture essix retainers, following further training and guidance
Requirements
  • Dental nursing qualification and registration with the GDC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Flexibility to work part-time, as part of a job share arrangement
