Main Duties and Responsibilities
Future Directions CIC is seeking experienced and non-experienced individuals to provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities across the North of England. Our aim is to help, support, and create meaningful lives for the people we support.
No Experience Required. Full Training Provided
We are looking for hardworking, values-driven individuals to provide the best support to the people we support, enabling them to live great lives. The role involves providing hands-on support, personal care, and household chores, as well as encouraging individuals to engage in activities and hobbies.
Where You Will Work
The people we support have a range of disabilities, and the role may involve working in various settings, including homes and community-based services. We provide full training to ensure that all support workers are equipped to provide safe and professional care.
What the People We Support Like to Do
The individuals we support enjoy socialising, engaging in creative activities, and participating in community events. We encourage our support workers to support and enable individuals to pursue their interests and hobbies.
Requirements
We require support workers to be flexible, have good communication skills, and be able to adapt to changing health needs. A good sense of humour and the ability to work independently are also essential.
Shifts and Working Hours
Shifts will include early mornings, late evenings, sleep-in shifts, and waking night shifts. We require support workers to be fully flexible and available to work all required shifts.
Enhanced DBS and COVID-19 Vaccinations
An Enhanced DBS check and COVID-19 vaccinations are required for all successful applicants. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our staff and the people we support.

Interviews and Induction
Interviews will be arranged at a later date, and all successful candidates will be required to complete a full induction, which will take place in Chadderton, Oldham. We require all successful applicants to attend all days of the induction.
