**About Us**

Topps Tiles is a leading UK tile retailer with a strong presence in the market. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Finance Business Partner.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to support our finance team in providing high-quality financial planning, analysis, and reporting. As a Junior Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, as well as providing insightful analysis to support business decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to business managers, ensuring accuracy and relevancy of insight.
  • Administer key aspects of the monthly management accounting and financial accounting processes, ensuring information is available in a timely fashion.
  • Close off the ledgers within agreed timescales and ensure that all key balance sheet control accounts have been reconciled and approved on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial processes to support the integrity of reporting and safeguard the company against loss.
  • Work with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to deliver a five-year financial plan and one-year budget, which will help the business deliver its strategy and goals.
  • Liaise with key business leaders to generate a mid-year reforecast and escalate any key variances to the original budget.
  • Support various other financial activities as required, including financial analysis, commercial opportunities, and reviewing performance against plan.

**Requirements**

  • Part-qualified accountant with a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes.
  • Good level of commerciality and ability to participate in commercial/operational discussions.
  • Ability to support non-financial teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of core finance processes, including monthly management accounts, weekly reporting, budgeting and planning, and decision/commercial support.
