About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Caretaker to join our team at Greenvale School in London. As a Senior Caretaker, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the Premises Officers and Cleaning Supervisor on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the school's facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the Premises Officers and Cleaning Supervisor to ensure the school's facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Support the BYes Management team in the delivery of both services to Lewisham schools.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of the Premises Officers and cleaning supervisors, ensuring a proactive and responsive service to the school.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and share communications with both teams.
  • Conduct yearly appraisals for the premises team and cleaning supervisors.
  • Ensure statutory compliance checks are completed and compliance log books are updated accordingly.
  • Work with the helpdesk administrator on work orders and PPMs, ensuring the team completes tasks within timelines.
