About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaner/Premises Officer to join our team at Equans. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hard and soft FM services to our school sites in Lewisham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for onsite issues and respond promptly to helpdesk events.
  • Carry out regular litter patrols and maintain the cleanliness of premises, grounds, and car parks.
  • Provide emergency response services during adverse weather conditions, including snow clearance and gritting.
  • Set up scheduled room layouts and equipment, liaising with other departments to ensure timely clear and re-set of meeting rooms.
  • Assist in completing weekly and monthly planned maintenance checks.
  • Be responsible for the security of the estate as a registered key holder.
  • Support ad-hoc cleaning duties.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school environment.
  • Caretaking and cleaning experience.
  • COSHH knowledge (desirable).
