Caregiver Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care, supporting residents with their daily needs, and promoting independence and dignity. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that each resident receives tailored care and support that meets their individual needs.

Job Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care to residents, including support with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility assistance.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Support residents to maintain their independence and dignity, promoting autonomy and self-advocacy.
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in care assistant or support worker roles.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues, residents, and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
