About the Role:

The successful candidate will work as part of our care giving staff, providing personalised assistance and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes and day centres.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and organising, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Foster meaningful and supportive relationships with clients through empathetic listening and engaging in social activities.
  • Provide companionship to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, care provided, and any relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with the care team, providing updates and insights into client's well-being.

This role requires a compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • A competitive salary of £12 per hour, rising after 12 weeks, paid weekly.
