About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Wellbeing Navigator to join our team at St Giles Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who are serving community sentences or being released from prison.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users to achieve timely and prescribed outcomes.
  • Create a safe and trusting environment using trauma-informed practice to facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users.
  • Deliver a range of interventions to service users, including group work sessions where required, and work with service users flexibly to meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including Probation, Prisons, and partners, to achieve contractual targets and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience in working with partner agencies to achieve common objectives.
  • L3 qualification in Advice and Guidance or equivalent.
  • A sound knowledge of the requirements of managing a caseload.
  • An understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs.
  • The ability to assess clients' needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions.
