Job Description

We are seeking an experienced European Finance Manager to lead our Shared Service Centre team. As a key finance collaborator, you will ensure consistent service levels and support across Europe while maintaining a strong working relationship with our regional finance teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day transactional management of the SSC, including direct line management of the T&E Manager and Payments Manager, as well as implementing regular cadence of high-quality metrics for the SSC across Europe.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage daily transactions and operations of the Shared Service Centre
  • Liaise with regional finance teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in leading a shared service centre finance team or similar high-volume transactional finance team
  • Strong understanding of transactional processes and ability to analyse risks within processes
  • Good technical accounting knowledge with a good understanding of how SSC processes impact financial results
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a S-Ox environment with strong internal controls requirements is an advantage
