We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Elysium Healthcare's Ranworth House in Eastbourne. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
About the Job- This is a 35-hour per week position with shift patterns of 7:30-2:30pm & 2:30pm-9:30pm on a rota basis including weekends.
- You will be working at Ranworth House, a service which provides support for people who may be living with moderate Learning Disabilities, Autism and behaviours that may challenge.
- Assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Communicating effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
- Dealing with challenging behaviors in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker, particularly in the field of learning disabilities and autism.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for caring for and supporting vulnerable individuals.
- A positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance.
- An annual salary of £22,113.
