NARS Resident Senior Artist - Selfridges Oxford Street

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Artist to join our team at Selfridges Oxford Street. As a Resident Senior Artist, you will be responsible for leading our counter team and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the counter team and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement event strategies to drive sales and engagement.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, including department store managers and external businesses.
  • Represent the NARS brand and maintain a high level of artistry and service.
  • Coach and develop the skills of our artistry team.
  • Conduct shop floor coaching and co-serving to enhance the skill set of our team.
  • Support the management team in identifying service and artistry development opportunities.
  • Attend advanced artistry training sessions and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
  • Support the National Lead Artist and Events Manager in brand building projects.
  • Carry out trade tests for potential new employees or promotions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior artist role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to drive sales and engagement.
  • Understanding of coaching and people development.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
