About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our UK Wastewater Services team at Hydro International Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all workshop repairs and refurbishments are completed to a high standard, within the agreed quote in terms of monetary value and time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the compliance and examination of lifting equipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring staff use all safe procedures and equipment as prescribed in appropriate risk assessments
  • May be required to work away or attend callouts
  • Will mentor new engineers within the workshop environment and oversee when working in the workshop
  • Will work as a team with other staff and trades within the business

Requirements

  • Current valid driving license
  • CSCS card
  • Previous engineering or electrical qualifications, including welding
  • Forklift experience and license
  • Knowledge of the water industry and inlet/water equipment is desirable
  • Computer literate
  • Good communicator, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to work outside of normal hours if required
