About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Installations Team at Selwood, based out of our Weymouth branch. The role will primarily be based on customer sites with occasional visits to the branch.

As an Installation Operative, you will work directly with Installation Supervisors, requiring strong teamwork and communication skills. A positive attitude, integrity, and flexibility are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing pipework, assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. A good level of fitness is required to perform daily tasks.

Flexibility is crucial, as you will be part of a call-out rota and expected to work overtime outside of your normal working hours. This will provide opportunities for increased overtime rates.

This role is subject to a safety-critical medical.

Key Responsibilities:

You will promote and exercise the company's mission statement and core values, delivering a uniformed approach to installations across the UK. You will manage your own site safety and contribute to the safety of others on site, completing installations in accordance with on-site RAMS and stringent control measures.

You will work safely in accordance with the installation methodology, maintaining a clean and tidy site, yard, and workshop area. You will also assist with loading and unloading vehicles, checking paperwork, and reporting any issues.

Requirements:

Essential:

Must have the aptitude to work on construction sites, with a good understanding of onsite safety. You will need to be flexible with working hours, available for on-call duties, and willing to travel and work away from home. A current Full UK driving license is required.

Preferred:

Holder of a construction Skills CSCS card, National Water Hygiene Card, Forklift truck operator certification, and an understanding of temporary/ permanent pumping solutions.
