About The Role


We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team in Weymouth. This role will focus on diesel engine and pump maintenance at customer sites and the branch workshop.


Due to the nature of our operations, this position will involve being part of a call-out rota, which includes a standby allowance and excellent overtime pay.


Responsibilities:



  • Work safely as a priority and have knowledge of PPE requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Obtain signatures and names from sites for smooth task processing.
  • Keep work areas and vehicles in good order and clean.
  • Complete daily vehicle defect reports for safety.
  • Perform tasks as set out by instructions or relevant training in a timely manner.
  • Understand company policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience:



  • Hold or be willing to train towards an NVQ qualification.
  • Full driving license.
  • Open to further training and growth within the role.
